I had some encounters with this phenomena. I needed to learn more so i started to watch utube for info. I found some good and allot of bad folks that seemed to asking for cash to do better research. Well i have to say, thanks for not mixing the two things together. To many folks looking to profit from this. What was rather comical at the beginning of your video was actually seeing and hearing those mosquitoes buzzing then hitting the screen....like pop, thud! Then it got a bit unnerving as you walked into that rather gully like basin and I got a nervous thought that you could be easily ambushed in that spot. Samurai chatter.

the track at 0:34 is just water run off that's why all the small sticks are pushed to the right. During heavy rain the water pushes all the small sticks to one side

I highly surprised you are wearing crocs instead of proper hiking shoes or boots. You're feet are not properly protected from bites or damage in those. That's definitely a footprint though. It really stands out. Good find.
